Pedagogical University of Cracow invited tenders for the design of an extension of the main building of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The competition, held by the Cracow branch of the Polish Architects Association, was settled by the Competition Committee led by Prof Dr habilitatus Dariusz Kozłowski, architect. Nine designs were submitted to the competition.

The pictures below show the winning design created by Cracow's STUDIO S Architectural Office Michał Szymanowski led by Mgr Michał Szymanowski, architectural engineer, and his team of architects including: Izabela Krawczyk, Maja Bujak-Grzywa, Anna Nakoneczna-Korszyńska. The author of the visualization is Jarosław Naumczyk, architect.

The remaining designs submitted for the competition were displayed during a post-competition exhibition which took place from August 12th- 25th, 2006 in the hall of the university's main building.
